Next Monday, April 18th, a host of incredible musicians will descend upon The Hall At MP in Brooklyn, NY for “Get Out And Vote For Bernie,” a benefit show for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. With the New York primary scheduled for April 19th, funk group Kung Fu will be hosting the festivities, with previously-announced guest appearances from Jon Fishman (Phish), Oteil Burbridge (Dead & Company/Allman Brothers Band), and Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band).We’re excited to announce that some additional artists and personalities have been added to the event. Musically, Kat Wright will add her indomitable vocals to the mix, Jason Hann of SCI/EOTO will be joining in, and DJ Logic will contribute his signature style to the performance. Not only that, but comedian/activist Jamie Kilstein will be talking about Sanders and his campaign. Kilstein has appeared on Conan, but also has spoken on programs like Up with Chris Hayes and Countdown with Keith Olbermann.The lineup continues to grow, as more and more personalities are feeling the burn. Norwegian oil and gas company Aker BP has awarded a contract to Eidesvik for its Viking Lady platform supply vessel. The Viking Lady. Source: Wikimedia; Author: Skangass AS – under the CC BY 3.0 licenseEidesvik said on Monday that the contract had been awarded under the three-year frame agreement, which was announced recently.To remind, Aker BP earlier in March entered into a frame agreement with three compatriot vessel owners – Simon Møkster Shipping, Eidesvik Offshore, and Solstad Offshore – for the supply of platform supply vessels. The duration of the frame agreements is initially for three years, with the option of two additional periods of two years each.Eidesvik said that the firm contract duration for the Viking Lady is for 12 months with immediate start. The contract may be extended beyond the fixed period.“We are very pleased that Viking Lady becomes a part of Aker BP’s operative fleet, and look forward to further developing the cooperation under the frame agreement,” said Jan Fredrik Meling, CEO of Eidesvik Offshore.The Viking Lady is an LNG-fueled platform supply vessel built in 2009 by Westcon Yard, Ølensvåg, Norway.
